Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris: Overview for Sourcing Professionals

The fair is organised by Messe Frankfurt France and is also searched for as Texworld Paris or Texworld Evolution Paris, the name it carried before a rebrand. Two core shows share the same halls and dates. Texworld covers fabrics and raw materials, while Apparel Sourcing covers finished products and accessories, so a buyer can compare a mill’s fabric and a factory’s finished garment within the same visit.

Entry is free for trade visitors who register with professional credentials, which keeps the floor focused on brands, retailers, designers and sourcing teams. The September 2026 edition, the 59th, ran from 31 August to 2 September 2026, and the January 2027 edition returns to Halls 2, 3 and 4 of the Parc des Expositions.

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, Textile Trade Show, France

Three Shows, One Sourcing Route

Texworld is the fabric side of the fair. Weavers from Bangladesh, China, India, Japan and Türkiye, among other origins, present cotton, wool, silk, linen, jacquards, lace, prints, shirting and sportswear fabrics, alongside trims and accessories. Apparel Sourcing is where finished goods are compared: menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, accessories and denim from manufacturers that pitch a mix of quality, creativity and competitive pricing.

Avantex is the innovation layer and joins the September edition only, so it is not part of the January fair. It brings start-ups and technology providers working on new materials, fibres, wearables, software and circular processes, and it hosts the Avantex Fashion Pitch.

Who Exhibits and Who Buys

China, Türkiye, India and Korea remain the historic anchors of the exhibitor list, but the organiser has pointed to growing interest in newer sourcing regions and to a general step up in the expertise on show. For the September 2026 edition it announced a group of around thirty exhibitors from China’s Zhejiang province. On the buying side, the organiser’s published visitor list includes retail groups and labels such as Inditex, Mango, Marks & Spencer and Hugo Boss, a spread that runs from high street volume to premium positioning.

Sourcing Tools on the Show Floor

The fair is built to shorten the search. At the entrance of Hall 4, an Initiatives area showcases textile expertise, including the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Trend Forum for contemporary Turkish design and the CTIC Trend Forum for Chinese manufacturers. A newer Apparel Sourcing Initiatives area highlights industrial know-how, production flexibility and premium services from selected finished-product exhibitors.

Visitors can also follow themed routes. The Handmade itinerary leads to embroideries, brocades and handwoven fabrics, the Small Quantity itinerary lists suppliers willing to serve designers and capsule collections, and the Econogy Finder points to eco-responsible and ethical suppliers. Seasonal direction comes from the show’s trend programme and trendbook, created by artistic directors Louis Gérin and Gregory Lamaud.

Sourcing Trends Shaping Paris in 2026 and 2027

Two forces are likely to colour supplier conversations at Le Bourget through 2027. EU rules pushing towards fully recyclable clothing by 2030 are raising the value of recycled polyester, nylon and cellulosic fibres, which makes the Econogy Finder a practical starting point for buyers with compliance targets. At the same time, Indian exporters facing US tariffs are redirecting volume towards European buyers, adding pricing pressure and fresh options for sourcing teams. Planning Paris in January 2027

The dates fit neatly into a Paris trip. Paris Fashion Week Menswear runs from 19 to 24 January 2027 and Haute Couture Week from 26 to 29 January 2027, so the Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris days of 25 to 27 January sit between the two. Teams that also buy in the United States can pair Paris with Texworld Apparel Sourcing New York City, scheduled for 19 to 21 January 2027 at the Javits Center. Both events belong to Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise network of textile fairs.
