Beirut Fashion Week (BFW) is brought to life by Maalouli International Group, one of the Middle East’s most visionary names in event production. Beirut Fashion Week unfolded from November 1 to 4, 2017, at BIEL in the heart of downtown Beirut. It was not only the largest red-carpet event in Lebanon but also one of the most ambitious in the region, bringing together designers, students, media, and international guests under one spotlight.

The grand finale on November 4 featured the Beirut Fashion Awards, where leading universities and fashion institutes — LAU, NDU, ESMOD, AUST, AFAD, and CAMM — competed for top honors. Winners were awarded scholarships to study in Milan, Paris, and Brussels, opening doors to the world’s fashion capitals.

The event received extensive media coverage, broadcast live on MTV Lebanon and across pan-Arab channels, with French outlets such as France 24, M6, Madame Figaro, Elle, Gala, and Télé Monte Carlo also highlighting Beirut’s fashion moment.

With this bold step, Beirut set its sights on becoming the fifth global fashion capital, joining the ranks of Paris, Milan, London, and New York.
