Lviv Fashion Week focuses at finding and supporting young designers

Lviv Fashion Week is the international format project which is held by the fashion weeks ready-to-wear standards. Lviv Fashion Week focuses at finding and supporting young designers. Together with that, it provides high quality catwalk to demonstrate collections to well-known brands.

Lviv Fashion Week has started their shows in Lviv twice a year, in spring and autumn, since 2008. Today it is one of the greatest fashion events in Eastern Europe, which is visited by more than 12 000 visitors each season. The participants are from different regions of Ukrainian and also from Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Latvia, Estonia, France and Libya. In October 2010 the legendary Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, the founder of Kenzo brand, was an honorary guest of the event. It was his first visit to Ukraine by invitation from Lviv Fashion Week organizers.

Lviv Fashion Week offers various ways of presentation to the designers: catwalk shows of the main and OFF schedule, collections show in the form of presentation, SABOTAGE contest for young designers, showrooms. Each season fashion shows are accompanied by art-events, artistic exhibitions and the project of fashion photography FASHION VIEW. Lviv Fashion Week events take place in number of locations in different parts of the city, providing guests with the opportunity to feel the beauty of European Lviv city.
