Netherlands Fashion Associations
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Dutch fashion associations represent an industry known more for streetwear and sustainability than haute couture. Amsterdam’s own fashion week reflects this identity directly, and these associations support the designers and manufacturers behind it.
Dutch Fashion Trade in 2025-2026
Dutch clothing manufacturing generates roughly €606.6 million in 2026, a fraction of the industries behind Paris or Milan. Rather than compete on couture, the Netherlands has built its fashion identity around streetwear and sustainability instead, with brands like Daily Paper and Patta growing into genuine international names.
The wider market reflects this same shift. Dutch fashion e-commerce, concentrated in Amsterdam, was valued at $10.6 billion in 2022, while the Dutch sustainable (“green”) fashion market reached $1.37 billion in 2024.
