Fascination for the cold, wide open spaces where the cold winds of the north calls for a time long gone. Of this archaic world a new composite style is born. Confronting a rather raw spirit viewed from the outside, with a refined cloth style worn underneath.
MEN & WOMEN Fabrics for protection, carded wools, flannels, fabrics in relief, brushed winter cottons, quilted or coated fabrics, imitation leathers and shearling aspects.Knits with irregular, slub yarn and relief aspects. In an ornamental, feminine spirit, light, fluid fabrics like chiffon, lace, tulle and crepe in solids, prints or ornamented. More basic winter cottons such as marled and occasionally coated twills, canvas and drills. A winter folkloric spirit with colourful jacquard wools inspired by Mongolia, Siberia.
WOMEN Colours the colours of the steppe and its vegetation dried out by severe cold: taupy tones, yellowed or greenish beiges and winter greyed blues. Faded colours which evoke molten glass, Celtic jewellery and ethnic embroideries.
Silhouettes very soft, fluid dress and tunic, matching soft, ultra-long pant, draped details, “hanging” volume, wrapped belt on low waist.Enveloping silhouette contrasting the fluidity of the underneath garments- often “jewel” ornamentation or embroidered- and the ampleness of the protective outer garments, parkas, trench coats.
Focus long coats or well-covering blousons in boiled wools or marled broadcloths. Blouse with “jewel” trims, embroidered and ornamented. Silky and printed satin skirts Supple, loosely knitted sweaters and cardigans Shearlings for jacket with worked panelling jeans in aged denim.
