Europe Day 2026: Open Day - EIT Culture & Creativity's Regional Hub North West

Europe Day 2026: Open Day – EIT Culture & Creativity

In Creative Industries by Europa Regina

On 8 May 2026, EIT Culture & Creativity’s Regional Hub North West hosts its Open Day at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, as part of Europe Day – a celebration of unity, culture, and connection organised together with regional partners.

The EIT Culture & Creativity Regional Hub North West will open its doors in Amsterdam for its Open Day – an opportunity for creatives, innovators, entrepreneurs, cultural organisations, and policymakers to come together, explore collaborations, and learn how to get involved in upcoming activities and open calls from EIT Culture & Creativity.

This year, the Open Day takes place under the framework of Europe Day, an event organised in collaboration with the European Cultural Foundation, Dutch Culture | Creative Europe Desk, and Kunsten ‘92. Together, we will explore what European collaboration makes possible across the culture and creative industries and collectively imagine what must come next.

The programme dives into five themes shaping Europe’s creative future:

  • Democratic media and journalism
  • European sentiment and cultural cohesion
  • Innovation and responsible technology
  • Fashion, textiles, and circularity
  • Scaling Europe’s Creative and Cultural Industries

The day will feature speakers from our regional beneficiaries and partners, addressing innovation in the creative industries on a European scale, alongside dedicated spaces to connect with the Regional Hub’s network and discover how to get involved in upcoming open calls and activities.

Based in Amsterdam, the Regional Hub North West covers the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, Ireland and parts of Northern France.
