Back to a hippy, bohemian, romantic and junior attitude. Unconventional, really carefree fashion that brings new life to customizing and personalizing the silhouette.
COLOURS
Real high summer colours to wear with no hang-ups, throughout the season. Melon, apricot, bubble gum pink, aniseed green, mint, lilac, turquoise. Soft pastels and day-glo acid drops. A sparkling freshness urbanized with grey.
FABRICS
Basics in colour… light plains, twills and gabardines in cotton or polyester, cotton sateens, washed lightened denims.
Lightness… new semi-transparent cotton voiles and batistes. Cretonnes, calicots and light poplins. Silky look, plain weaves, scarf twills, washed or creased chiffons, polyester satins. Fluid viscose or acetate crepes. Cotton jerseys, cotton/stretch or viscose knits. Ultra-fine fleeces. Blurred… tie-dye colour effects, spotted flowers, faded little florals. Exotic influence, watercolour paisleys, giant muted ethnic florals. Beach and surf inspiration, gradated, washed motifs, photoprints.
STYLE
Separates to combine”carelessly”… For men, T-shirt and jeans story in colour block or colour total look. Dress mania… very simple, in pretty fabrics. Square-cut dresses, tilted shift dresses, T-shirt-style three-hole dresses, kimono-style coatdresses, jersey tunic dresses, sweat dresses. City hippy… mix of patterns and layered shapes. For men, focus on piled on tops. Waistcoat over knitted shirt over T-shirt plus scarf. Deep neckline T-shirts with over printed T-shirts to wear over cropped peg-top jeans. For women, long skirts, spectacular printed cotton T-shirts, little halterneck sweaters over leggings and zouave pants.
DETAILS
Random dyes. Placed embroidery. Ruched flounces, frayed flounces. Draped collars. Very deep round necklines. Fabric
patchworks. Added hem bands in quilted fabrics.
ACCESSORIES
Creative recycling spirit…crochet bags, messenger bags with string shoulder straps and amulets, recycled bags in shopping bag mesh and raw canvas. Sandals with inset leather and macramé. Charm bracelets. “Handmade”…pack bags with splashy dye. Messenger bags or mini purses in fabric patchwork. Faded suede ankle boots, sneakers with pencil drawing motifs.
