Pacific Nations Fashion Alliance
The Pacific Nations Fashion Alliance aims to create a regional Fashion Council that unites stakeholders across the Pacific to advance the SDGs through transformative engagement, knowledge sharing, and transparent collaboration. By the end of 2030, the goals are to:

  • Establish a governance structure to represent Pacific designers globally.
  • Secure funding and partnerships for education, infrastructure, workforce development through training grants, and capacity-building workshops to empower local communities.
  • Promote circular economy, ethical production, and sustainable fashion practices to combat climate change.
  • Support cultural preservation, gender equality, and women’s empowerment through traditional craftsmanship and leadership opportunities.

New Zealand

Fashion Council of New Zealand
The Fashion Council of New Zealand is the result of many requests from the industry to have a body that represents all aspects of the fashion industry in New Zealand. The website is managed by New Zealand Apparel magazine whose 50+ year history of working with the New Zealand fashion industry ideally places them as a conduit to encourage networking in the industry through the Fashion Council of New Zealand. Membership is free, with members drawn from across the fashion, supplier, education, training, textile, service and retail sectors.
