Kingfisher Premium presents Rocky S at the grand finale of Kingfisher Premium Chennai International Fashion Week

As the curtains came to a close on the Kingfisher Premium Chennai International Fashion Week, designers Rocky S, Nazia Syed, Riyaz Ganji & Aslam Khan presented the perfect ode to Chennai’s biggest and most premium fashion showcase.

Nazia Syed began the night with a collection celebrating women achievers. Passionate and vibrant, the theme was ‘Ikat Goes Pop’ line. Pastel Ikat silk and cottons juxtapose beautifully with bright bold vibrant pop art prints in easy silhouettes. Further reinforcing the message of her collection, everyday women who have made their mark in different fields walked the ramp as showstoppers in beautiful creations.

Next, Riyaz Ganji founder of the popular label ‘Libas’ stuck to the brand’s forte – wedding couture. Their collection, a contemporary mix of modern cuts, traditional colours and intricate embroidery is testament to their excellent craftsmanship and high attention to detail. The high energy show was brought to a finish by the Southern Siren, Lakshmi Rai who walked the ramp in a rich ethnic ghagra.

Aslam Khan presented a tailored couture collection of contemporary cuts and bright colors. Bollywood style divas Mughda Godse and Sonal Chauhan left the audience spellbound as they modeled the key pieces from the collection.

Continuing the momentum of high fashion, Kingfisher Premium proudly presented renowned designer & a famous fixture in the Bollywood style scene, Rocky S as the grand finale designer. The creations were quintessentially lavish & glamorous reflecting the Kingfisher Premium lifestyle experience. The fabrics used were heavy crepe, taffeta & georgette with ornamentation of different materials such as cord work & crystals to add an elegant feel. The silhouettes were youthful with fitted dresses & flowy full length gowns.
