Norway Trade Fair Grounds

Norges Varemesse
Norway Fair Trades in Lillestrøm
Norges Varemesse has about 80 employees dedicated to creating inspirational events. Their business areas cover exhibitions, congresses, conferences, banquets, events and concerts. Our main job is to promote Norwegian business and industry.
We have been hosting Norway’s biggest exhibition successes for nearly a century, including 40 years at the Sjølyst centre in Oslo. During our first half-century, we played a big role in the development and presentation of Norway’s business sector both at home and abroad.
Siv Lunde Kolrud took over as our new chief executive on 15 November 2011, after seven years as hotel director at Oslo’s prestigious Hotel Continental.

Oslo Kongressenter
Oslo Kongressenter Folkets Hus AS, located in the heart of central Oslo, is organised as a joint stock company in which the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), the Jern og Metall union and the Sparebank 1 bank are majority shareholders. The story of the “People’s House” goes all the way back to the end of the 19th century, but the foundation of today’s congress centre was completed in 1989.
