Africa Fashion Reception 2015 scheduled for 24th October, Paris

For the first time, the African fashion industry came together in 2013 at the world’s fashion capital — Paris. It was the official launch of the Africa Fashion Reception. It brought together fashion designers, garment & textile manufacturers, fashion accesory & lifestyle producers from 16 countries. 2014 saw the participation of 24 countries. This year, the AFR will gather fashion designers, First Ladies, fashion icons Ambassadors, Ministers and Media from over 30 countries, in a celebration of cultural diversity expressed through the artistic fashion discipline with the proud theme ‘Africa is the new inspiration for global fashion’.

The AFR will give each participating country not only a platform to promote its garment and lifestyle products but also its culture & tourism potentials.
