The 89th Textile Institute World Conference takes place in Wuhan, China, from 2-6 November 2014

The Textile Institute is delighted to announce that Wuhan Textile University, China, with the support of Deakin University, Australia, will be hosting the next World Conference. China is considered to be the largest fibre producer and textile manufacturer in the world. Wuhan Textile University is the only ‘textile’ named university in China. Wuhan city is centrally located with easy access by international and domestic flights and the fast train network in China.

The Textile Institute and Wuhan Textile University hope the conference will provide the opportunity for many international members to take part in this prestigious event. Presentations from industry and education will provide an international platform for information exchange and networking.

Founded in 1910 the Institute was incorporated in England by a Royal Charter granted in 1925 and is a registered charity.
