WHY SUSTAINABLE FASHION?
Fashion is one of the largest industries in the world.
Fashion is one of the most polluting industries globally.
Fashion exploits human labour in low-wage countries.
Fashion has the power to innovate and communicate
Fashion can change behavioural patterns amongst consumers
This makes fashion probably the most powerful industry in the world!

Hosted for the third time, the Copenhagen Fashion Summit has become the global focal point for innovative solutions and the international fashion industry’s preferred venue to exchange knowledge and experiences on the global challenges facing the industry.
Together with leading fashion companies and technology providers, the Copenhagen Fashion Summit will showcase new solutions for:

– Innovative materials and design techniques
– New approaches to fashion consumption
– Cross-sector partnerships for low-impact garment care
– Responsible and technology-driven sourcing
– Next generation and new talent focus

The list of global challenges facing the fashion industry is long—but willingness exists to create change and by bringing our forces together, raising awareness and sharing knowledge it is possible to create a socially
responsible and environmentally friendly fashion industry.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit catalyzes the discussion on a successful fashion industry in a world where new business models are required to tackle the growing sustainability challenges facing the planet and society.

Join the Copenhagen Fashion Summit to understand what a sustainable and socially responsible fashion industry looks like and the solutions it takes to get us there.
