Baltimore Fashion Week provides a runway setting for designers
Baltimore Fashion Week is an annual fashion showcasing event that provides a runway setting for designers to present collections to buyers, boutique owners, clients, and fashion trendsetters.
Established in June 27, 2006, this event has catapulted to a different level and category of fashion presentation. Its first production was August 2008, at the historical War Memorial, located in the Heart of the City.
Baltimore is the largest city in the U.S. state of Maryland. Founded in 1729, Baltimore is the second largest seaport in the Mid-Atlantic. Almost a quarter of the jobs in the Baltimore region are in science, technology, engineering and math, in part attributed to its extensive undergraduate and graduate schools.
Baltimore is in north-central Maryland on the Patapsco River close to where it empties into the Chesapeake Bay. The city is also located on the fall line between the Piedmont Plateau and the Atlantic Coastal Plain, which divides Baltimore into “lower city” and “upper city”.
