China Fashion Week was established in 1997. It is held twice a year in Beijing, which are A/W Collection and S/S Collection. The event consists of fashion shows, professional contests, exhibition, fashion forum, and professional evaluation etc.
Within 16 years’ development, China Fashion Week has become not only a top-rated platform for fashion design, ready-to-wear, accessories, styling and other new designs and new technologies in China, but also a world renowned platform for promoting brands, displaying originality and broadcasting fashion trends.
Till now, more than 380 designers from over ten countries, and more than 390 fashion brands and organizations have hold 869 fashion shows. Over 3000 young designers and models have taken part in 113 professional contest finals. China Fashion Week attracts hundreds of media from all over the world each season.
In 2011, China Fashion Week set strategic cooperation with Leading Luxury Auto Brand Mercedes-Benz that has listed China Fashion Week in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks worldwide. China Fashion Week has stepped on to a new stage to globalization.
